Traveler.
One record. Every department.
A drawing comes in; the part record, quote, work order, routing, and six department templates come out — on a box in your building, reviewed and signed by your people.
One record. Every department reads from it.
A drawing comes in once. The part record, quote, work order, routing, and job status live in Traveler, on the box in your shop. Accounting gets what it needs pushed out — nothing is read back. Today, data moves in and out as Excel and CSV files; direct connections are added per system as shops ask for them.
Every department, already briefed.
Six standard department templates, filled in from the drawing and CAD before a person opens them. Each lead reviews, fills in what only a person can decide, and signs. Templates shown are illustrative examples.

Your people and the agents work in the same job channels, on a system you own. Agents do the repetitive upfront work; your people make the decisions.
- 01
A submission lands
Intake agentA customer submits a drawing and CAD on your website. An Intake agent opens a job channel and notifies your team.
- 02
The part gets analyzed
DFM agentOur DFM engine reads the actual CAD model — holes, pockets, undercuts, threads — scores how hard the part is to make, and posts a rough quote.
- 03
A work order is drafted
Work order agentAn agent fills your standard template from the analysis, so the upfront legwork is done before a human touches it.
- 04
The right people get pinged
Router agentProgramming, machining, QA, and shipping each see exactly what they need, when they need it.
- 05
A human approves
HumanYour team reviews and approves. Every message, analysis, and approval is logged and searchable.
Five agents. Narrow jobs. Their own permissions.
Each agent runs under its own service account with limited permissions. Agents draft; only people approve and sign.
| Agent | Reads | Writes | Can't do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Intake always on | Your inbox, web form, and customer-portal RFQs | Opens the job channel and starts the part record | Quote or commit to a date |
| DFM on every part | The CAD model and drawing | Features, warnings, a manufacturability score, and a rough price | Change the design or approve anything |
| Work-Order per job | The part record, the DFM result, and the standard templates | Six pre-filled department templates, marked draft | Release a work order without a person's sign-off |
| Router per job | The work order, department templates, and the shop calendar | The routing and the notifications to each lead | Reassign people or skip an inspection step |
| Connector on export | Approved invoices, POs, and job costs | Exports to your accounting software | Read accounting data back, or touch portals or CAM files |
The model is the ingredient. The workflow is the business.
Open models are now good enough to run inside a shop. Traveler packages the four pieces — model, shelf, runtime, workflow — so you get the benefit without becoming an AI shop yourself.
Model
Open-weight language and vision models — the same families the industry publishes openly. Traveler is model-agnostic: the model is an ingredient we can swap as better ones ship.
Shelf
We select and test the model that fits your appliance's memory and your workload, then pin that version. You never download, tune, or babysit a model.
Runtime
The model runs on the appliance in your building, on a local runtime. No API key, no per-token bill, no request leaves the shop.
Workflow
This is the product: read the drawing, fill six department templates, route the job, keep the signed record. The model helps; Traveler's workflow is what your people actually use.
What this means for you: no cloud AI subscription, no drawings sent to a third-party model, and the ability to upgrade the model on your appliance without changing how your shop works.
Designed for the shops with the most to protect.
Traveler keeps the kind of records AS9100, ISO 13485, and export-control programs require you to keep. Your quality system stays yours; we make it easier to answer the auditor.
Records an auditor can follow.
- Every change is logged with who, when, the value before and after, and why. Edits never replace the original — both stay on the record.
- Agents produce drafts. A named, authenticated person reviews and approves before anything becomes a controlled record.
- Approvals are electronic signatures with a stated meaning, attached to the record they approve.
- Export any job's complete history — drawing revision, quote, work order, routing, inspection results, certs — as PDF or CSV for your DHR, CAPA, or auditor.
Your data never leaves the building.
- Drawings, CAD, and quotes stay on the appliance in your shop. The model runs locally, and Traveler sends nothing back to us.
- Role- and job-based access: restrict export-controlled jobs to the people you designate.
- Encrypted at rest and in transit; audit logs are retained on the box and exportable.
- Updates and support are customer-initiated and logged. No cloud tenant, no remote access you didn't ask for.
Job history · Example job 4471 (illustrative)
| When | Who | Action | Detail |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mon 08:12 | Intake · M. Reyes | Files received | STEP + PDF rev C attached; hash recorded |
| Mon 08:14 | Traveler | Templates drafted | 6 department templates pre-filled from drawing |
| Mon 09:40 | Quality · A. Chen | Inspection plan approved | CTQ list edited: added Ø12.00 H7 to CMM |
| Tue 13:05 | Programming · D. Okafor | Setup sheet signed | Op 20 fixture changed; reason noted |

Every template edit, approval, and file handoff is written to the job history with the user and timestamp. The history exports with the job package for customer or auditor review.
Traveler provides records and controls to support your quality and export-control programs. Certification, validation, and registrant status remain yours.
Works with what you already run.
Traveler becomes the record for operations — the part, the quote, the work order, the routing, the status. Your accounting software, your customer portals, and your CAM stay exactly where they are.
- Your accounting software export only
- Your customers' portals and PO systems import
- Your CAM and your machines handoff
- Your quality system and its paperwork export
- The whiteboard
- The quoting spreadsheet
- The traveler binder
- The ERP module nobody finished setting up
Data moves as Excel and CSV today, which every system you own can read. Direct connections come per system, as shops ask for them.
